I am originally from San Francisco, CA. and moved to Charlotte four years ago when my only child joined the United States Marine Corps and I realized I had an opportunity to do with my life, whatever I wanted.

I started looking online at homes in the Charlotte area and finally narrowed it down enough to make the trip out here to purchase my first home.  The home I fell in love with online was the home I ended up buying, although I looked at many more homes during my trip. When I emailed my son the picture of my house, his comment was “you found your dream home.” And I had.

Charlotte is my home. When people in California ask me if I miss “home” I tell them I am home. 

I have many interests; number one of course is my son Nick and his beautiful wife Galina in California. I have three wonderful dogs and one “grandpuppy”, I have a wonderful family and the best friends in the world. I love to read, write, hike, cook, bake, (eat of course) and drive around North and South Carolina. I love to hear people tell stories and meet new people with new stories. I love to laugh.

Last year, while my son was deployed to Iraq, I volunteered my time with a non-political organization that supports parents and families of Marines and Navy Corpsman. I learned first hand what kinds of sacrifices the families of military personnel make and it was an eye-opening and enriching experience. I plan to continue my support for all military and their families in as many ways as I can, through various organizations.

If there were one thing I would want you to know about me it’s this: I will not lie to you. I will not steer you wrong or put my needs before yours. Helping people, whether it’s purchase a home, sell a home or bring soup to a sick friend, helping people is what I do best and what I enjoy doing most.

Some Real Estate Brokers will not tell you about themselves, but I want you to know me-I think this is a really important relationship- and you should know the person that is representing your interests.
